| Testimonial Just a note about Pioneer Quest. My12 year old son and I (his Father) just loved the show, I'd even like to see it again. Just watching the struggles you encountered in a Canadian year was astounding. To grow up in that life and learn as you aged would have helped prepare one for so many things, but you did very well. I can't imagine how a women did that and carried a child as they did back then . Then they often cared for several young ones. Of course as they aged that was extra labor but also more food and room and laundry. You just touched the edges. My ancestry came to the prairies of Illinois in the 1840's and it had to be rough but still much easier with good black soil and much milder climates.

I've been to Canada and experienced the mosquito's they are much worse than here in Illinois. My son and I both learned a lot from
watching and I wonder how I would have faired..?? We live on 7.5 acres, also have 35 chickens, a mix golden retriever a pond ect and we really
love the slower country life and understand the desire to get out of the rat race. I would love to get to the intimate relationship with my wife as it
appears you two did in the show, not that we aren't close but she works and I work and its evenings and weekends.
Well enough... you probably get thousand of E mails just would like to say thank you and God bless.
