Testimonial

Hi Tim and Deanna!!

My wife and I just viewed the final episode of Pioneer Quest on Montana PBS last night. What a great documentary! We were teary eyed through the entire last episode! I can't imagine how hard that must have been for you to leave the homestead that you built with your own hands. Hats off to all four of you for succeeding in the 1870's. No doubt, you would have also been a success story back then! We watched Frontier House here in Montana before seeing Pioneer Quest and I must say that Frontier House was a weak comparison!

I'm sure you hear from a lot of people that say "I could do that", but I know when you hear that, you think "...you have no idea..." I would love to have the chance to try that, but I doubt that I would make it a month, let alone a year on the prairie! My grandfather grew up on the family farm in northeast Montana. They had some hard times, but had modern equipment (in the 1910's and 20's) to get them by so I just can't tell you how much respect I have for you doing that with a horse team and a single bottom plow.

Thanks for a great viewing experience and thanks for continuing to educate people on the pioneer ways through your speaking engagements and demonstrations.
