| Testimonial Dear Deanna and Tim,
My family just finished watching your fascinating journey, "Pioneer Quest" last eve. It was a really
enjoyable time, although I am glad YOU went through it, and not us! (LOL)! I doubt we would have
the gumption. We live in the U.S. (Illinois), and could identify with the blizzard scene! We are in a
suburb of Chicago, and as you know, we have some very cold, snowy winters, too.
Thank you for going through this whole experience, so that so many of us could sit
back and live vicariously through you.

One interesting (maybe not, I don't know!! LOL!) note is that when I saw you,
Deanna, holding a pan of home-made soap it made me wonder if I could do that.
SO, I bought a book with a bunch of recipes, some very basic and some more complex,
on soap making. John (my husband) and I are going to try it one of these days. That
should be interesting. I am a little nervous because of the lye, quite honestly. We are
going to wear goggles, which they tell you to do. I even bought one small bottle of
"essential oil," because the recipe we are trying is very basic, and uses lard. They say it
smells like fat if you don't use something to camouflage the smell! Tell Tim, if he doesn't
see this, that I hope he is still enjoying his bubble baths! He looked like he was in
heaven!
