| Testimonial Dear Tim and Deanna
Hello again!
Thanks for responding to my email. I know that you folks are very people-oriented and want to share your unique experience.
Watching a show like Pioneer Quest has encouraged me to continue to simplify my life. Hubby and I retired at age 45 after we made a
conscious decision to live frugally, own a business rather than slave for someone else, and to spend the rest of our lives enjoying simple
pleasures rather than materialism. We have had some interesting adventures since selling our fitness business ~ the 2 of us built a 40
foot steel trawler to liveaboard, we sold our family home and all our possessions, we spent 5 months living in a fishing village in an
out-island in the Bahamas, we travelled Canada and the States with first a tent and van and then a tiny trailer, we lived in an
unwinterized cottage in Ontario for 3 months (chopping wood for heat and holes in the ice for water), and most recently we built our
own little home in the country.

Now that we have a home base again, we're building a tiny travel trailer to pull behind our 12 year old
Toyota Previa so we can travel frugally and explore our wonderful country more. We have done all this by having few wants, sometimes
really "roughing" it, living frugally and carefully, and enjoying the simple pleasures of Mother Nature.
However, your pioneer lives in the year on the prairie makes our lives seem very complicated with way too many luxuries! I would love to
simplify even more but hubby needs the internet and business channel to do his investing so we can continue to be retired. Always
trade-offs, eh?!
Thanks so very much for taking the time to email me. I will always be fascinated with our pioneer history, and appreciative that they
worked so incredibly hard to settle Canada. Your experience can never be imitated; you are so very lucky to have had it!
Thanks again!
Cheers!
