Hello,
What a fan I am of this wonderful program! My husband just finished watching Pioneer Quest (for the second
time...the first time we caught the series on the Life Channel, it was halfway through, and this time we missed the
first episode) and enjoyed so much the inspiring journey of pioneering. It's a dream of my husband's and mine to one
day do it, 'bug out' of the 21st century. We are half way there, having left the big city to live in the rugged BC Interior
known as the Cariboo, and we have acquired many useful skills and think we could actually do it. We live our lives
very close to the land anyway.

Pioneer Quest was a wonderful show, and we BOTH actually cried all through the last
episode (saying goodbye to the horses and the cow really got to us!). IT must have been hard to leave, because
although a physically demanding lifestyle of the 1800's puts a person's body to the ultimate of tests, what a
wonderful and truly spiritual experience it would be to pare life down to the basics, so that one is more able to focus on God's Earth. Truly inspiring!
