IPTV Images "Wouldn't it be neat to be able to get inside a time machine and travel to any date that you wanted to. Maybe go back and see what your teacher was like when they were a student or ahead in time to see who your husband will be. Well, we did not have a time machine but we did have an old green wagon with big red wheels that transported us back to 1875 when the pioneers were settling North America. Come join us on that journey."

"You'll get used to it. You'll get used to it.
Living like a settler, You'll get used to it. Mosquitoes, mud and more, a tent without a floor. There were two couples, one young and one gray To live the old fashioned way. It's wonderful. It's marvelous No debts, no bills, no worries for a year. But when you get used to it and your really used to it Your optimism is taken over by fear."

"When you go camping you have a waterproof tent that comes with poles. Ours
was a prospector tent that did not keep out the rain and we had to cut down trees to make a structure to hold up the tent. Everything in the tent was sopping wet and soon mould was appearing everywhere. I recorded in my diary that out of the first 23 days it poured rain 21 of them. I just wanted to turn around and go home."

"I was told if you watch an object at the far end of the field you could plow straight rows but every time we'd start, the plow would hit a rock causing it to veer to one side. We eventually got five acres done. Talk about hard work!!!"

"We didn't have the type of entertainment that you kids have with all your electronics but we had LIVE entertainment and one day Duke and Diamond decided to show us what was called 'runaway'. They suddenly bolted and Frank held on. I think they misunderstood him because every time he yelled "Whoa" they must have heard "Go" because they went faster and faster. Our entertainment ended as he tripped on an anthill and flew headfirst into the mud."

"We slept on a 'tic' which was like a large pillow case stuffed with straw. It was only 2 1/2 feet wide and 5 feet long and Tim and I had to cuddle together on one as our tent was not large enough for one each. Poor Frank and Alana, many nights they got woken up by 'somebody' snoring beside them."
